Generic kits ship without a prescription review, without allergy checks, and without anyone who knows your name. Superior does it differently.
Every kit is prescribed by Dr. Skinner following a real clinical consultation — not generated by an intake quiz. You speak with a licensed provider who reviews your full medical history before anything ships.
Macrolide, sulfa, penicillin, tetracycline, or quinolone allergy? We don't just note it — we substitute it. Your kit ships with the right medications for your specific allergy profile, not the standard defaults.
Superior kits include real prescription antibiotics, antivirals, steroids, and emergency medications — the kind that require a licensed provider to prescribe because they actually work when it matters most.
Solo adventurer? Couple heading abroad? Family on a long-term expedition? Three kit tiers are designed to match your situation — and each one is customized based on your individual needs and health history.
Every kit is reviewed by your provider and adapted to your allergy profile — no one-size-fits-all defaults.
Azithromycin (Z-Pak) → substituted with Doxycycline 100mg
Bactrim DS → Ciprofloxacin 500mg
Bactroban Ointment → Triple Antibiotic Ointment
Cephalexin and Augmentin are removed from the kit. OTC alternatives recommended.
Doxycycline 100mg → substituted with Z-Pak x2 packs
Ciprofloxacin → substituted with Bactrim DS (28 tablets × 2)
Ibuprofen 200mg · Acetaminophen 325mg · Benadryl 25mg · Omeprazole 20mg — can be added as a supplement to any kit.
No labs required. No urgent care visit. Just a 15-minute consultation and 5–7 days to your front door.
Complete the Travel Medical Kit order form to schedule a complimentary consultation. A licensed Superior provider will review your medical history and current medications to ensure safe prescribing — no labs needed.
Dr. Skinner personally reviews and approves your kit — selecting the right medications, applying any allergy substitutions, and tailoring contents to your travel plans and health profile.
Once payment is processed and your prescription is approved, your kit ships directly from a licensed pharmacy. Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed during your order completion call.
No — new patients are welcome. Simply complete the Travel Medical Kit order form to schedule your free consultation. A licensed Superior provider will review your medical history and ensure the kit is appropriate and safe for you before anything ships.
Every kit includes clinician-reviewed allergy substitutions. Common accommodations include substituting Doxycycline for Z-Pak (macrolide allergy), Ciprofloxacin for Bactrim (sulfa allergy), Triple Antibiotic Ointment for Bactroban (sulfa allergy), and removing Cephalexin and Augmentin for penicillin-allergic patients. Your provider reviews your full allergy profile during the consultation.
Orders ship within 5–7 business days after your consultation is complete, your kit has been clinically approved, and payment has been processed. Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed during your order completion call. Specific medications may occasionally be subject to availability, and any delays will be communicated proactively.
Kit contents have been carefully curated by Dr. Skinner to deliver the most clinical value at each tier. Patients cannot mix-and-match across kits, but your provider can apply allergy-based substitutions and remove items that aren't appropriate for your individual health profile.
The Quad Kit is typically $1,725 when EpiPens are included. If EpiPens are removed, the price is reduced to $1,325. The $795 starting price reflects base tier pricing — final pricing depends on your kit configuration, EpiPen inclusion, and pharmacy fulfillment. Your provider will discuss options during your consultation.
Travel Medical Kits are recommended for use within one year of purchase to ensure effectiveness. Each medication will be dispensed with standard pharmacy-labeled expiration dates. Renewals require a new provider consultation to confirm the kit is still appropriate for your current health status.
A Travel Medical Kit purchase includes the initial consultation required for prescribing, but does not include ongoing follow-up care beyond that consultation. If your health needs change or you need a kit renewal, a new consultation is required to ensure medications remain appropriate for you.
A Superior Travel Medical Kit takes 15 minutes to set up and could save you days of scrambling to find care abroad. Request your free consultation — we'll handle the rest.
