Important Safety Information: Glutathione | Compounded Injectable
What is this?
This Important Safety Information summarizes key warnings and precautions for glutathione, a naturally occurring tripeptide composed of glycine, cysteine, and glutamic acid. Glutathione plays a role in antioxidant activity and cellular defense against oxidative stress and is involved in normal detoxification pathways within the body. Endogenous glutathione levels may decline with age, chronic stress, illness, or environmental exposure.
This product is a mass-produced compounded injectable formulation and is not customized for individual patients. Compounded injectable glutathione has not been reviewed or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety or efficacy. This medication should only be used exactly as prescribed and under appropriate clinical supervision.
This summary does not include all possible information. Always read your pharmacy label and follow your healthcare provider’s instructions.
This safety information applies only to injectable glutathione prescribed through Superior Health & Wellness. Other routes of administration, including inhaled or oral formulations, are not addressed in this summary.
