Pregnyl is not appropriate for individuals who:
• Have certain hormone-sensitive cancers
• Have uncontrolled thyroid, adrenal, or pituitary disorders
• Have unexplained vaginal bleeding
• Have had a prior allergic reaction to hCG
Women using this medication for fertility require close monitoring with labs and ultrasound to reduce the risk of complications such as Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome.
